Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support to K-12 students in a school setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive OT services that enhance students ability to participate fully in their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students functional abilities and learning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized OT intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatments to maximize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience working with children in a school-based environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational settings and therapy regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
